Welcome to the website and services of RestaurantAI (operated by R.L.AI Ltd, Company No. 517254728) (the “Company”, “we” or “us”). This Privacy Policy describes how the Company protects privacy and uses personal information, including the information we collect about you when you use our website, our management systems, and our other products and services (together, the “Digital Services”).

RestaurantAI is an all-in-one platform for the restaurant industry, including, among other things, a point-of-sale system (POS), reservations and table management, supplier and procurement management, employee management, project and task management, marketing tools, and AI-based modules.

The Company respects the privacy of users of the Digital Services (the “User(s)” or “you”) and is committed to protecting the personal information collected about you. We recommend reading this Privacy Policy carefully and contacting us with any question using the contact details at the end of this document.

 

Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

  • Identification and contact details of business owners and their employees (full name, email, phone, address).

  • Payment and financial information required to process payments and bill for the services.

  • Employee and user details within the system, including identity verification via SMS and email for business employees.

  • Information provided when contacting our customer service, and the content of messages and requests you send us.

  • Any other information you choose to provide with your consent and at your request.

 

 

Information collected from end users (customers of the businesses)

As a company providing services to businesses, we may process the personal information of their customers, such as:

  • Identification and contact details (name, phone, delivery address).

  • Order, reservation and purchase details, including order history.

  • Menu preferences and dietary information, including food sensitivities and kashrut preferences.

  • Payment method information.

  • Loyalty club membership data and information on digital gifts and their redemption.

  • Responses to satisfaction surveys and reviews.

 

Information collected automatically

  • IP address and location data.

  • Usage and activity data across our systems, websites, apps and kiosks.

  • Sales statistics and transaction data (without full credit card details).

  • Logs and performance data of the systems for security and maintenance purposes.

Purposes of Use

We, our service providers and/or our business partners will use the personal information collected for the following purposes:

  • Providing the services and management platforms to businesses, including operating the POS, processing orders, and managing inventory and menus.

  • Managing reservations and table bookings and operating the marketplace.

  • Managing business employees, including registration, identity verification and access permissions.

  • Managing projects and tasks, and managing user accounts and related actions.

  • Processing transactions and orders of business customers, including receipt, processing, payment and delivery.

  • Managing deliveries, including coordinating and tracking couriers and delivery addresses.

  • Operating marketing tools for businesses, including loyalty clubs, digital gifts and satisfaction surveys.

  • Personalizing user interfaces and improving the user experience.

  • Providing support, troubleshooting, and reviewing and responding to complaints or questions.

  • Sending notices of changes or improvements to the services and contacting you when necessary.

  • Analyzing data for performance reports and developing and improving our products and services.

  • Preventing fraud, detecting and preventing suspicious activity, and protecting the security of our systems.

The Company’s Role as a Processor for Businesses

As a company providing platform services to businesses, we act as a holder/processor of a database on behalf of the businesses, as defined under the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 1981. Processing of the personal information of the businesses’ customers is carried out solely in accordance with the instructions of the businesses that licensed our platforms and subject to the data processing agreements signed with them. The businesses are the controllers of the database and are solely responsible for determining the purposes and manner of processing.

 

Data Retention

We will retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide you with the services, fulfill the purposes of use, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements, or for a longer period as required under applicable law. We may delete your personal information where we consider it no longer needed for the purposes above, subject to applicable law.

 

Transfer of Information to Third Parties

The Company does not sell your personal information for commercial purposes. However, we may transfer personal information to third parties in the following cases:

  • Disclosure to businesses – sharing personal information with the relevant business, whether by providing the information or by granting the business access to it.

  • Business partners, service providers and subcontractors – such as cloud, CRM, payment processing, analytics and marketing providers assisting us in providing the services.

  • Support services – to provide better and faster support.

  • Legal compliance – disclosure to legal, governmental or judicial authorities in connection with legal proceedings or as required by law.

The Company will not make automated decisions affecting rights without human intervention and will allow you to contact us for further information. Whenever a chatbot or automated system is used, you will be given clear notice that it is an automated system.

 

Your Rights and How to Exercise Them

To the extent personal information is stored in the Company’s databases, you are entitled to review it, yourself or through a duly authorized representative or guardian. We will respond as soon as possible and no later than 30 days from the date of your request. If, after reviewing the information, you find it to be incorrect, incomplete, unclear or outdated, you may request that it be corrected or deleted, subject to the Company’s approval and applicable law. Please note: we do not and will never ask for credit card details, passwords or other sensitive details via email or by phone calls you did not initiate.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from users under the age of 18. Businesses using our systems are required to obtain parental or guardian consent where required by law.

Providing personal details to the Company constitutes explicit consent to receive email and/or SMS messages from the Company in connection with the services (such as operational updates, service provision or system notices).
